Legal Guarantee of Conformity

All products sold on skinmagic.eu benefit from the EU legal guarantee of conformity, in accordance with applicable law. This guarantee is based on Directive (EU) 2019/771 on certain aspects concerning contracts for the sale of goods, transposed into Romanian law by Government Emergency Ordinance no. 140/2021. The guarantee is provided by the seller, Health and Beauty Medical SRL, and applies free of charge to every consumer.

What the guarantee covers

The seller is liable to the consumer for any lack of conformity that exists at the time of delivery and that becomes apparent within 2 years (24 months) of delivery. A product is considered to be in conformity when it cumulatively meets the following conditions:

it corresponds to the description, type, quantity and quality presented at the time of purchase;
it is fit for the purposes for which products of the same type are normally used;
it is delivered together with the accessories and instructions that the consumer may reasonably expect to receive;
it matches the sample or model made available before purchase.

Remedies in case of non-conformity

If the product is not in conformity, the consumer is entitled to the following remedies, in this order:

repair or replacement of the product, free of charge and within a reasonable time after informing the seller;
if repair or replacement is not possible or does not resolve the issue, the consumer may request a proportionate price reduction or the termination of the contract together with a refund of the amounts paid.

How to claim the guarantee

To make a claim under the guarantee, please contact us at [email protected], providing a clear description of the problem encountered and proof of purchase (invoice or order confirmation). You will receive instructions on the next steps as soon as possible. Please note that returns are free of charge: the shop covers the cost of return shipping for non-conforming products.

Cosmetic aspects and limitations

The legal guarantee of conformity does not cover:

normal wear resulting from the ordinary use of the product;
failure to follow the storage or usage instructions indicated on the packaging;
use of the product after its expiry date has passed.

Please always check the expiry date printed on the packaging, as well as the PAO symbol (Period After Opening) - the number of months during which the product can be safely used after opening.
